About the Owner

At Westchester Food Safety we understand the struggles involved while running a food establishment. As a restaurant owner/manager of a food establishment myself, I understand the pressures that are involved in dealing with local and state regulatory groups and running a shop isn’t easy. Time is money.

Before being a restaurant owner I worked as an English teacher for many years. Today I am using my skills in the food safety education industry. My experience in both education and in food handling has allowed me to present clear, informative and fun ways to help people learn.

I began teaching the Food Manger’s Safety ServSafe Certification in Westchester NY and started Westchester Food Safety. Currently, I am teaching the Food Manager’s Safety ServSafe course in the tri-state area. Certifications valid for Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, Fairfield and Bergen County. Proudly ServSafe certifying Connecticut, the greater New York and New Jersey area.

Food Safety is everyone’s business and it’s our business. What I was trained to teach and the implementation of these skills has helped my food establishments and my staff members thrive. I am passionate in regards to my profession in the food industry. Food knowledge is power.

With WFS you can take the state qualified Food Manager’s Course from a real teacher and an accredited partner for food safety. Westchester Food Safety has partnered with ServSafe® with the goal of helping all our students earn the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification. The certification is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Conference for Food Protection (CFP).

My mission is to help people achieve their certification goals while keeping the standards on ServSafe (The National Food Association). We all need this certification; our local and state regulatory authority demands it. At Westchester Food Safety we believe that safer and cleaner food makes customers happy, which in turn makes us all more money. Food safety is fundamental and necessary in the preparation and handling of food.

I am now Offering HACCP auditing to restaurants within the tri-state area. In addition to our Food Manager’s Protection Courses and Exams, we offer a variety of Food Safety Consulting Programs.
