Training is key on the job, the best way to get your staff up to spread on food safety practices and generally cooking, cleaning and maintenance programs is to have them take a Food Manager’s Safety course with Westchester Food Safety. We cover many aspects we go into depth about the 5 common risks factors related to food safety.

Our course at Westchester Food Safety is about 8 hours in total. However, Food Safety is something that is ever changing and constant. We suggest that you take what you learn and implement Food Safety Briefings into your establishment. Weekly Food Safety sessions or briefings are a great way to address issues and keep your staff on their toes. Just 10 minutes a week can go a long way.
Awareness is key and using what we learn on the job is extremely important.
